Great shop! It's amazing the range of products they have here. We went in for a plumbing fitting we couldn't find at Home Depot and got great customer service as well as a really good price. Please shop here!

Great little hardware store! One of the few gems left in the West End. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and they can give you help with whichever project you need help with. They also cut keys!! So get some backup keys when you go there. Great place! I actually feel lucky to have such a store in my neighborhood.

As a local business owner, I go here often to get small tools, scews, paint or whatever else I need to keep my shop in good shape. Steve and Bruce are the best.

I went into the West End Paint and Hardware shop today to see if the staff there might be able to mix a combo of their colours for a colour I was hoping for. I got such great customer service! We chatted and he helped me pick the right paint and mixed it with a combination of colours perfectly to match a swatch that I brought in. I am excited to paint my piece. I have always gotten Friendly service anytime I go in. Grateful to have this store in our hood and appreciate anytime I get such good customer service. (it can be rare these days it seems) Thanks for your help today.

So grateful to have this little gem in our neighborhood. Usually have everything you need and you can get there by foot! They also provide good advice on DIY projects. I personally like the owner's dry sense of humor and practical approach. Was able to repair a moldy and crumbling countertop under my kitchen sink with new caulking and some paint. No trips to a big box store required! Thanks West End Paint and Hardware!

A gem in the neighborhood. I have been going there for over a decade. The place is packed with what you need. Definitely reminds you of the old days neighborhood store that stocked what you needed for the type of houses that are built in the area. The old German Shepard is now gone and none replace it so you cannot give it a scratch behind the ears as you walk in. I live the owner, no-nonsense guy. You won't get an "A+" for just walking -in! Pass the test and he is the most kind, knowledgeable and helpful guy. Mindful of others that work "on-the-clock" he will quickly sign a courier's paper while answering your question. Fair prices too! He seems to carry most everything in two grades, quality and best-bang-for-the-buck. If he is watching a game on the telly, better look for what you need before interrupting. L. Today, a Sunday of all days, I locked myself out of my apartment and my landlord didn’t have the correct key for my unit. I was recommended West End Paint & Hardware in a west end Facebook group so decided to give them a call. I had no idea this was a service they provided, and they provided it so well. Bruce was over in under 20 minutes and was able to trouble shoot an extremely stubborn lock and get me back inside to my kitties within the hour. I had called multiple other locksmiths and no one was able to come today. I am so grateful for another neighbourhood staple, thank you Bruce and the West End Paint & Hardware team!

I love this shop. I’ve been in a few times for a variety of things. It’s so convenient. The proprietor is both personable and knowledgeable. The little shop seems to have everything I need.
